Social Development department reiterates dedication to increasing SASSA financial support

Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assist and determination to strengthening South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) products and services during an engagement with the company's senior administrators in a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric final exams.
With the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for your National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% of the registered pupils in the education sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
